More Jamberry! I love these!!

Alright ladies (and gents).

Nik here.

Guess what?!

I am now an Independent Jamberry consultant!

That's right. After my party, I earned nine free wraps, and after using them one more time, I just had to become a consultant.

If you know me at all, I hate sales, and never ever ever wanted to become a consultant for anything.

That is a testament to my love for these wraps.

(That's all it took for a full manicure.)

I've worn two more "Jamicures" since my last post plus one more mani with accent nails. Each has lasted a week or more. Not one was removed because they had to be, rather because I wanted to try a new design. They hold up SO WELL against every thing I do. They've become easy-breezy to apply now that I've done them multiple times. I am SO GLAD I didn't let my crappy application experience with my sample deter me. That, looking back, was all my fault. I touched the adhesive side and when I went to put it on my nail I removed it and put it again.

Oh, and I did a pedicure! It took 2.333 wraps to do all ten of my toenails! And I have big nails.

The heat seal completely sets them apart from other wraps. It helps create a water tight bond. You can use a blow dryer, hit rice packs, or our mini heater. If the traditional application method doesn't quite work for you, there are alternative methods that can be used, too!

So, I am certain that most of my manicures from here on out will be Jamicure based. With what little free time I have for myself anymore, why would I waste it on polish that's going to chip in half a day, if I'm lucky enough that no one needs a diaper before it cures.

I have a Jamberry website where you can shop (buy 3 get 1 free and satisfaction guarantee, plus over 300 designs), sign up to host online pastries (and win amazing rewards), or sign on to become a consultant.

It's not just me that loves these! Desi does too and is hosting an online party starting Monday!

Jamberry Review Part 2

I don't think I gave Jamberry Nails a fair review last time. I mean.. I did, because I posted my honest experience and feelings, but I'm here to do a part two.

I won a "pedi pack" at the online party I was a part of, where I received the sample I tried last post. I decided to give it another shot on my fingernails because my toes looked fine. Haha.

This time, I am delighted to report that I've had the wraps on three nails for almost an entire week. They are not lifting, sliding, or even showing tip wear.

^ Day 1- paired with Zoya -Jacy

I've done countless dishes and diaper changes. I've sewn and played in the sand. My fingers have been nibbled on by ducks, goats, and sheep. I chewed on them just to test them.

They're still pristine.

^ Day 6.5 - paired with Zoya - Rocky

Love them.

I'm hosting an online party, through 12:00am CST, Thursday night (tomorrow is the last full day of my party).

They are buy 3 get 1 free. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. You can do multiple manicures and/or pedicures with each set. They're super easy to apply.

Check them out! And if you decide to order before my party closes, use this link:

My Buoyfriend + Jamberry

Woah. I think this is my first blog in months! (This is Nik, by the way!) As you may or may not know, I had a baby girl in April, so things have been a little crazy around here with a 3.5 year-old-boy, 1.5 year-old-boy, and a one month old girl.

I did find time to do matching Mommy & Me pedicures last week though, We used a mini OPI Strawberry Margarita that Desi sent us!

But that is all an aside, and not the real focus of this post.

One of my August Momma friends (from a group I meant while pregnant with Collin in 2012) started selling Jamberry Nail wraps, and she sent me a sample! I guess that makes this a partial-sponsored post.

I couldn't wait to use it, so I dug through my polish box and found the perfect match for the sample she sent- Sinful Colors "My Buoyfriend."

That blue is GORGEOUS. The formula is wonderful. It really coated perfectly in one coat, but then I smudged my nails changing a diaper (go figure) so I added a second coat.

So, the Jamberry Wrap. It was easy to apply, which is great, and took all of about one minute. The sample was enough for two accent nails. Unfortunately, my particular sample was on the small side, so it was a little small for my pinky nails.

I tried it on my left hand over a bare nail and over a freshly painted nail on my right hand. I noticed no difference in ease of use.

Fast forward four days...

The wraps are pretty darn durable, which is great on my somewhat flimsy nails. I did approximately 4 loads of hand-washed dishes each day, played outside, and changed a million diapers. They didn't chip or tear.

Today, I am sad to report, I am removing my manicure. Each of my painted nails are super chipped. And it's been hot and muggy here this week and I noticed the wraps slide with pressure so my left nail was getting crooked, but was easy to slide back. My right nail however, is a lost cause. The wrap slid nearly off at the park this morning and when I slid it back, it loosened the polish and peeled away. I guess I don't recommend applying over polish even though they say you can.

Jamberry Nails wraps run for $15 a sheet on the regular, and I am told you can do multiple full manicures (or pedicures) with them!

My friend started her new business at:

Someday, when I have some extra cash (not on maternity leave), I would like to buy some more. I probably won't use th during muggy season though. Not sure.
